30 Second Film Festival

The MCA-I Madison 30 Second Film Festival is a competition that has been created to spark imagination, wit and creativity in the confines of 30 seconds. MCA-I Madison is a non-profit organization committed to creating a community of professionals in film, video and multi-media while bringing programs that educate and entertain.

You will get three key ingredients to your project (Genre, Topic & Key Word). Genres can range from :30 commercial to narrative to informational/documentary. Topics could or may be “A commercial for The Mason Lounge” to “An informational video about mosquitoes”. Your key word will be one word that will be said or included in graphics.

While you’re at pickup, you can ask organizers any questions you may have. Every team should have a captain/executive producer. You can have as many team members as you wish.

Entries will be judged on adhering to instructions, creativity and production value.

Winners will announced at the MCA-I Madison WAVE Awards. All teams will receive four discounts to the show. We will be giving a cash award to Best In Show along with a trophy. The smaller the group, the bigger the cut of cash! There may be other merit awards.
