SeptemberEvent: MMP Production Science Fair

September In Person Event

We are finally back for an in-person event and we couldn’t be more excited to see everyone again! Our September event won’t be baking soda volcanoes, potato batteries and tri-fold poster boards. But instead, we’ll have professionals from the Madison area showing off their latest and greatest in production gear.

We’ll have live streaming setups, drones of all kinds, 360 cameras, action cameras and probe lenses. Demonstrators will be on hand to demo and discuss their equipment with all who attend. Come check it all out and catch up with other professionals in the area!

6:00 – 6:10 pm. Announcements & Introductions

84 N. Bryan St.
Madison, WI 53714

From a virtual or live events perspective – how do we get high quality video from the cams to to web to our computers?

NDI – convert SDI & HDMI to NDI to be sent over a network

https://ndi.tv/tools/
newer hardware switchers can take NDI direct
WebRTC – bidirectional protocol for capturing webcam at remote computers
Used in video systems like https://www.vmix.com/products/vmix-call.aspx
http://www.gnuralnet.com/livetoair
SRT – single direction protocol for sending video over internet
vMix can use and create streams
