March Program: Kohl Center Tour
The Kohl Center is home to Badger hockey and basketball, but also a live video production to enhance the experience for the fans. The head of that production team, Stephen Ackermann, will be hosting a behind-the-scenes tour of the Kohl Center for Madison Media Professionals on Tuesday, March 21st. Come see the inner workings of Madison’s premiere sports facility, and a firsthand look of the video team’s process of handling instant replay, videoboard graphics, and keeping the crowd engaged.
It’s important that you register online prior to the event. We want to make sure everyone is accounted for before starting our tour. Also, please arrive early because once the tour begins we won’t be able to allow in any late arrivals. Please meet us outside right in front of the Kohl Center (facing Dayton Street) for check-in.
After the tour concludes, everyone is invited to The Nitty Gritty for networking and a cash bar. Please note food will not be provided at this program due to logistics with the Kohl Center.
There is some street parking in the area if it’s available. However, there is a public parking lot (Lot 46) at the corner of Lake and Johnson Street.
Spread the word to fellow students, pros, and friends. Be sure to register online today and we’ll see you at the Kohl Center on March 21st!
